Let's Tip Our Hats to Another Successful Event!
From traditional fair and rodeo activities, including booths and exhibits, to our Main Street parade there was definitely something for everyone in 2006! The fair board and the community of Dell City would like to thank everyone who participated in this year's event and are looking ahead to 2007.
It is difficult to name everyone who had a hand in this year's success from our sponsors, to our vendors and exhibitors. However, we would like to express our gratitude to everyone who worked so hard in front of and behind the scenes.
A heartfelt thanks to all of our department chairs, the Dell City ISD Senior Class and FFA for the extra hands and hard work through out the event.
Special thanks to Chuck DeBroder for serving as our 2006 Grand Marshall. We all agree that there must be something to having a professional weatherman kick off the events, as the weather was perfect!!!! Chuck's good humor and talents were greatly appreciated. Special thanks the community for welcoming him with open arms.
We would also like to thank Davi Gardener, Veronica Medina and Marti Reyes for judging our 48th annual parade, with more than 35 entries they faced the difficult task of determining the "Best of the Best" in 2006.
Also, many thanks to all of our salsa contest participants and judges Jack Stallings, Jesus "Chuy" Reyes Chuy Salinas and Chuck DeBroder for making the event another huge success!
